These products and the website, which provides information about the Products and the ability to purchase them, are created and maintained by Superlinear S.r.l. (“us” or “we”).
Gmail and Google Calendar are software-as-a-service web-based services, found respectively at www.gmail.com and www.calendar.google.com. They are products of Google Inc. (“Google”), which is a subsidiary of Alphabet, and we use a technology called WKWebView to render these services as desktop applications, respectively an email client, and a calendar app. We have no business relationship nor any operating relationship with Gmail, Google, or Alphabet. Our products, ‘Boxy for Gmail’, and ‘Boxy for Calendar’, use what Google makes publicly available in Gmail and other Google-owned productivity applications.

Information collected in our products
Users can login to their Google accounts inside our apps, to make them function as clients to the aforementioned services; this login information is freely provided by the User, and is transmitted securely to Google servers to allow the user to login with his/her account within our Products. We then use the email addresses used to login in our Products to enable some features like fast account switching. We don’t read or store passwords of our users nor transmit emails used to login to their Google Accounts to our servers.
Our products are designed to enhance the user experience of Google services, and don’t change or affect a user’s Google account, except to receive and send mail, create or receive Calendar invites and events, or change settings as directed exclusively and solely by the user. Essentially, user Google accounts and their settings are changed by our Products only to the extent that is already possible in a regular browser, and only via explicit action performed exclusively and solely by the user.
When an user adds their Google account within our Dashboard application, they grant access to their Gmail’s emails and Google Calendar’s events via an authentication token. This token is stored locally on the user computer (securely in the system’s keychain) and used to display recent emails and calendar events. This token is never sent to our servers.

Non personally-identifiable information shared with third parties
We do not share your Personal Data or Usage Data with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish our Products functionality. We use reporting technologies in our Products to learn how users in the aggregate — never individually — use the product. We collect this information via third party services like Fabric and App Center. Hence Usage Data is collected only to operate and improve the app and customer support. All the Usage Data we gather through Fabric and App Center is anonymous. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics regarding our Products usage with outside parties, such as how many people are using the app on a given month.
No personally identifiable data is reported to or stored on our servers unless you specifically provide it on a case-by-case basis (e.g., crash report annotations, support emails).

We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend our rights or property, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.

Changes to this policy
