This is the privacy policy for our bundle of products Boxy Suite, the products contained in it, which are currently Boxy for Gmail, Boxy for Calendar, Boxy Dashboard (the “Products” or “our Products”), and it is also the privacy policy for the Boxy Suite website (“this site”).

These products and the website, which provides information about the Products and the ability to purchase them, are created and maintained by Superlinear S.r.l. (“us” or “we”).

Gmail and Google Calendar are software-as-a-service web-based services, found respectively at and They are products of Google Inc. (“Google”), which is a subsidiary of Alphabet, and we use a technology called WKWebView to render these services as desktop applications, respectively an email client, and a calendar app. We have no business relationship nor any operating relationship with Gmail, Google, or Alphabet. Our products, ‘Boxy for Gmail’, and ‘Boxy for Calendar’, use what Google makes publicly available in Gmail and other Google-owned productivity applications.

Your privacy is very important to us, that’s why we have developed this Privacy Policy to explain our policy with respect personally identifiable data (“Data”, “Personal Data”) and other information that is collected from those who use our site and our Products.

Information we collect

Among the types of personal data that this Application collects, there are:

  1. email addresses, Cookies, and Usage data collected on this website;
  2. Information collected in social media such as Twitter in accounts identified as our official accounts;
  3. Information collected inside ‘Boxy for Gmail’, ‘Boxy for Calendar’. This information is limited and not personally identifiable, used to analyze general usage patterns and improve our products.

You might purchase our products via the Boxy Suite purchase on this site. We tracks purchases and other events happening on our site to be informed about purchasing trends and the website performance. You can also sign up for out newsletter; if so, we use that information to send you updates and news about our products, as explicitly stated on the website. By entering this site, you agree to review, become familiar with, and accept this privacy policy. We do not collect any credit card information on this site.

In operating this Site, we may use a technology called “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our site gives to your browser when you access the site. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. Facebook has ultimate control of the information gathered through Facebook Advertising, Facebook Pixel Re-Marketing, and communications. You can opt-out of Facebook’s use of cookies and Facebook Pixel Re-Marketing through settings on your Facebook Account.

Payments Information

Payments information provided by you via this site will be stored and processed by Market Limited and any other third party service providers as designated by us from time to time. We will collect certain information on the Sites required for Market Limited and such third party services providers to process payments, including credit / debit card numbers, security numbers and other related payment information. All such information is subject to the privacy policy of Market Limited (available here or any other third party service provider as applicable.

Analytics on this website

We reserve the right to participate with third party analytics partners to monitor and analyze Web traffic and can be used to keep track of user behavior on this site. We use Clicky to log and analyze the traffic to our web site. You may review Clicky’s Privacy Policy. A “Unique ID” tracking cookie is used for the legitimate purpose of identifying unique visitors, but otherwise no Personal Data is logged.

Information collected in our products

Users can login to their Google accounts inside our apps, to make them function as clients to the aforementioned services; this login information is freely provided by the User, and is transmitted securely to Google servers to allow the user to login with his/her account within our Products. We then use the email addresses used to login in our Products to enable some features like fast account switching. We don’t read or store passwords of our users nor transmit emails used to login to their Google Accounts to our servers.

Our products are designed to enhance the user experience of Google services, and don’t change or affect a user’s Google account, except to receive and send mail, create or receive Calendar invites and events, or change settings as directed exclusively and solely by the user. Essentially, user Google accounts and their settings are changed by our Products only to the extent that is already possible in a regular browser, and only via explicit action performed exclusively and solely by the user.

When an user adds their Google account within our Dashboard application, they grant access to their Gmail’s emails and Google Calendar’s events via an authentication token. This token is stored locally on the user computer (securely in the system’s keychain) and used to display recent emails and calendar events. This token is never sent to our servers.

Cookies inside our products

Any use of Cookies by this Application, unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User. Users are responsible for any Personal Data of third parties obtained, published or shared through this Application and confirm that they have the third party’s consent to provide the Data to the Owner.


No personally identifiable data is reported to or stored on our servers unless you specifically provide it on a case-by-case basis (e.g., crash report annotations, support emails). We do not share your Personal Data or Usage Data with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish our Products functionality and for our products marketing purposes, as explained in the next paragraph.

We use reporting technologies in our Products to learn how users in the aggregate — never individually — use the product. We collect this information via third party services like Fabric (Privacy Policy) and Visual Studio App Center (Privacy Policy). Hence Usage Data is collected only to operate and improve the app and customer support. All the Usage Data we gather through Fabric and App Center is anonymous. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics regarding our Products usage with outside parties, such as how many people are using the app on a given month.

We may use thirdy-party advertising companies like Twitter Ads to serve advertisements on our behalf. These companies may use a cookie or an action tag, also known as a Web Beacon or a 1 pixel .gif file, to tailor advertisements you see on other sites and to measure the effectiveness of their advertising. These cookies, action tags or similar files do not contain any Personal information.

As you opt-in to our Newsletters, you accept that we may share limited Personal information with certain display advertising partners like Twitter Ads, to help us advertise our products via retargeting ads. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address or telephone number.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we determine we have collected personal information from a child younger than 13 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page and possibly within this Website and/or - as far as technically and legally feasible - sending a notice to Users via any contact information available to us. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the top.
